Jointly organized by theThin Films Society (TFS) and the Korean Society of Precision Engineering (KSPE), the Thin Films Workshop 2017 was successfully convened cum the KSPE 2017S during 17-19 May 2017 at Ramada Plaza Jeju, Jeju Island, South Korea.
The workshop was chaired by Prof. Sam Zhang, President of TFS. Most TFS EXCO members and symposium chairs attended the workshop. At the wokshop, 14 speakers presented their recent research works. Prof. Zhong Chen chaired the presentation session.
Before the start of the workshop, Prof. Sam Zhang called a meeting on the preparation of ThinFilms2018 to be held from 17-20 July 2018 in Shenzhen, China. At the meeting, the attending symposium chairs discussed their plans to promote their respective symposium at various international conferences and events in the coming months.
Prof. Sam Zhang was also invited to deliver a plenary lecture at the Korean conference KSPE 2017S.
