SAPPORO WORSHOP convened
The Thin Films Society (TFS) has successfullyorganized a technical workshop on recent developments of thin films andcoatings technologies from 29 to 31May 2019 in ANA Crown Palaza Hotel, Sapporo,Japan. The Workshop was to provide an academic exchange and networkingplatform to the participants for knowledge sharing and discussion on the latestdevelopments in thin films related technologies, so as to promote future collaboration.
The workshop was chaired by Prof. Sam Zhang, President ofTFS and Director of the Centre for Advanced Thin Film Materials and Devices,Southwest University, China . Participants from United Kingdom, Japan, China,Singapore and Taiwan region presented their recent thin films relatedinterdisciplinary researches and new technology developments. The Workshop also discussed issues regarding the upcoming ThinFilms2020 conference to be held in Singapore next July.
