The 2018 Cross-Strait Conference of Advanced Functional Materials and Applications aimed to provide a platform for experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs engaged in academic research, technical development, production, and application of advanced functional materials from both sides of the Taiwan Strait to exchange ideas and promote deep cooperation.
With the theme of “Promoting the Fusion of Advanced Materials across the Strait, Advancing Green Development in Both Sides of the Taiwan Strait,” the conference focused on the development trends, key areas, and challenges in the field of advanced materials in both sides of the Taiwan Strait, aiming to promote the integration of advanced material technologies.
Co-hosted by the Instrumentation Functional Materials Branch of the China Instrument and Control Society, the Materials Science Society of Taiwan, and the International Thin Film Society, the conference was chaired by Academician Zhigang Zou of Nanjing University and Academician Zhongxun Jin of Feng Chia University in Taiwan. It took place in Xiamen from August 17th to 20th, 2018.
