Chaired by Dr Liu Shiyu, General Secretary of the Thin Film Society. The event featured presentations from 10 scholars and researchers from South Korea and Singapore. Participants showcased their latest advancements in thin film and coating technologies, interdisciplinary research, and novel material development.\u00a0<\/p><p>During the workshop, preparations for the upcoming international conference the ThinFilms2026 &#8211; scheduled for July next year in Singapore &#8211; were discussed. Prof. Sam Zhang, Chair of the conference ThinFilms2026, warmly invited all attendees to reunite in Singapore for the event.<\/p><p>Beyond its academic value, the Jeju workshop provided a valuable platform for scholars from different regions of Korea to exchange ideas while paving the way for promoting ThinFilms2026 in Korea.
